Our purpose

Kgolo Trust focuses on journalism development for a diverse and vibrant South African media. It seeks to support community media, enhance female representation in the sector and create opportunities for training and development that enhances the profession.

Tshepiso Mogotsi, right, of MO Interactive Web Design, demonstrates a web site to Phila Nyandeni, CEO, of the Disabled People of Kwa Thema project. Kgolo Trust provided funding to the project to hire Mogotsi's small web design company, entirely black-owned and staffed, to produce a fund-raising web site. Nyandeni's project provides employment for some 60 disabled people in the Ekurhuleni area
